Swedish Intellectual Property Office (PRV) Databases (old version)

NB! This version of the Swedish Patent Database is being decommissioned. The database is frozen regarding updates from 2026-01-26. During a transitional period, however, this version is to be used for material from up until the year 2000.

The Swedish Innovation Database

The database focuses on Swedish innovations and their historical development, compiling data on patents, technological advancements, and innovations from 1970 to 2021.

The French Historical Patent Database

The database includes patents issued in France from 1791 to 1901 as well as trademarks and trade names registered in France from 1857 to 1920.

300 Years of British Patents is a large-scale dataset of the universe of historical patent specifications published by the British Patent Office between 1617-1899. The dataset contains the titles, full texts of specifications, lists of tokenized words, and extracted named entities for 322,874 specifications.
