New student project with the Master's Programme in Data Science at the Department of Information Technology.

During the fall semester UPHG will host a student project within in the Master's Programme in Data Science at the Department of Information Technology.

We are delighted to welcome Elias Benjaminsson, Jain Garveet, and Qinwu Tian, students at the Department of Information Technology, to UPHG for their Data Science Project course this semester. They will be working on the project “Reconstructing Historical Patent Families via Image Similarity,” using computer vision techniques to automate the matching of international patent families.

We look forward to developing these ideas together and seeing where the project takes us!
